We’re thrilled to feature long-time art student, Michelle B. for our February 2023 Student of the Month. Michelle has been studying with Pastimes‘ founder/instructor Linda Wehrli for 6 years! And did we mention she’s only 10-years-old? 
Michelle has completed the Graphite 101, Oil Pastel 101, Watercolor 201 and Watercolor 202 and is currently enrolled enrolled in the Acrylics 301 Course. Not only is Michelle studying art, she is also enroll in Piano Lessons with Linda. She has passed the Classic Series Volume 1 Beginner Book and is now moving quickly through the Classic Series Volume 2 Intermediate level book. Prodigious!

As Student of the Month, Michelle is awarded a Virtual Solo Art Showcase and featured on Pastimes’ blog. On display are Michelle’s 21 works in Oil Pastel, Watercolor, and Acrylics. Captivating drawings and paintings of landscapes, people and animal portraits, still life, florals and architecture are mounted on virtual walls inside a chic warehouse-style gallery. Michelle chose the song Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen to accompany guests visiting her exhibit. A catalog of the show is displayed below.
