We’re kicking off our May blog lineup with a Student of the Month Virtual Solo Art Showcase featuring Pastimes’ longtime art students, David F.! David has been studying with Pastimes‘ founder/instructor Linda Wehrli for over 6 years. Woot! He has completed the following courses: Graphite 101, Graphite 102, Oil Pastel 101, Watercolor 201.

David F.’s accomplishments are being acknowledged this month with his very own Solo Virtual Art Showcase! On display are 21 works in Watercolor, Oil Pastel, and Graphite. Stunning drawings and paintings of animal portraits, still life, florals, and architecture are mounted on virtual walls inside a chic warehouse-style gallery. Linda chose the lively “Magic” by Count Basie and His Orchestra from his April in Paris album. A catalog of the exhibit is shown below. Grab your favorite beverage, click the link and enjoy the show.

David is currently enrolled in the Watercolor 201 Course. Here is his latest tulip painting. Lovely work!

Congratulations again to David on being selected for the May Student of the Month Solo Virtual Art Showcase!

P.S. If you are interested in purchasing either an original or a print of any of David’s works, you are welcome to contact us at Jessica@pastimesinc.com. Thank you for your interest.
