On Sunday, October 15, 2017 from 4PM – 6PM, Jon Stocking, the manager at Basecamp Coffee & Eatery graciously hosted a gallery opening party for 21 art students of Linda Wehrli, founder/instructor at Pastimes for a Lifetime Art and Piano School.
Students and staff helped with the installation. Many thanks to office manager Jessica Lee Sanders, Mrs. Tomomi Fujimoto and daughter Sarah, Mr. Alan Mendelsohn and Ms. Dorothy Gamoning for their excellent art installation assistance.
Students who attended the gallery opening party received Certificates of Merit and photos of themselves with their beautiful artwork. Those who were unable to, will receive Certificates of Merit at their next art class. Selfies of themselves with their artwork will be added to the blog, accordingly.
Guests enjoyed delicious organic coffee, tea and baked goodies over great conversations while viewing the beautiful artwork.
Artwork will be on exhibit until Sunday, October 29, 2017 during store hours. Come on by!

For over a decade, Pastimes for a Lifetime has partnered with local businesses to host student art exhibits. Students may elect to sell or simply exhibit their work. At the Gallery Opening, the exhibiting students are photographed with their artwork at the venue and presented Certificates of Merit. Pastimes for a Lifetime promotes these exhibits locally at no cost to either the host or the student. Local businesses support the arts while bringing in new business.
