Welcome to Pastimes for a Lifetime art and piano school. Since 1989, Linda Wehrli has prepared artists & pianists of all ages for pastimes they can enjoy for a lifetime, professional schools or careers of their own.

Linda Wehrli is also a professional fine artist with works in private collections. She has been drawing since the age of 5 and painting since the age of 12. Linda received formal art instruction from art professors at California State University, Northridge and professional artists at their studios.

Linda Wehrli is also a piano soloist, accompanist and arranger. She has been playing the piano since the age of 6 and accompanying since the age of 10. Linda received formal training from piano teachers trained at Juilliard, various European music conservatories and Berklee School of Music, Boston. She and her husband, Barry Wehrli have authored their own line of piano books and materials.

In addition to her art and piano training, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Marketing from California State University, Northridge. Linda shares her business training with students who are ready to start their own fine art or piano enterprise. She is a member of professional associations, local Chambers of Commerce and the Rotary Club.

Art classes in drawing, painting and calligraphy are taught as individual lessons in a small group setting. Linda Wehrli’s unique curriculum of easy-to-understand lessons and projects help students build their skills, style and confidence with a solid foundation of the basics. Professional, positive and caring instruction is tailored to each student’s ability level and learning style.

Piano lessons are taught privately by Linda Wehrli. Her unique curriculum is a holistic approach to piano education. At all levels, musicianship and technical skills are developed while learning to read and play music. She and her husband, Barry Wehrli have authored their own line of piano books and materials. In these books, topics are presented in an easy gradient, building the student’s confidence along the way. This solid foundation will provide you for a lifetime of enjoyment at the piano.

Barry and Linda Wehrli were concerned with the lack of comprehensive instruction books available for piano. They took it upon themselves to create books that are as much fun as they are thorough and can be used easily by both students and teachers.
