This year’s show included classical & contemporary solos performed by eight of her students:
Ryan B., Carmen S.
Ryan P., Mason S.
Chris K., Adela M.
Cameron C., Aidan C.
Linda’s hubby and fellow pianist and composer, Barry Michael Wehrli, graciously performed the duty of Master of Ceremonies, introducing the students and their pieces.
Proceeding the student portion of the concert, pianist Linda Wehrli had the pleasure of playing duets with flutist Ljiljana Lukic and cellist Caroline Coward. They closed the show with a gorgeous trio. It was so lovely listening to the three instruments playing simultaneously!
After the concert, students and guests enjoyed delicious gourmet sandwiches and desserts by Chef Pete Miller of Pete’s Sweets along with platters of fruit and veggies and beverages generously donated by students’ families. Performers and staff received artisanal dark chocolate musical notes by Anita Burgoyne of Custom Chocolate Designs, a lovely way to end a beautiful concert!
We would like to thank the students, families, and guest musicians for making this concert possible. Also, a big thank you to Barry Wehrli, Randy Tobin, and the Unitarian Universalist Church of Studio City.
